Diwali is the festival of joy, gifting, giving and lights. This diwali we decided to customize a set of playing cards to gift to our clients. Diwali 2020 has been the culmination of one hell of a year, and we have learnt to appreciate the smaller things, and our family. We designed these playing cards, to allow our clients to spend a little more time with their family, and to enjoy a good game with a colourful, Indian styled Diwali Deck of Cards.

I N S P I R A T I O N
I recreated each of the characters using Madhubani, Kalamkari and Mughal Paintings as a reference. As an ode to Indian art forms and the spirit of joy, I made the characters hold Diwali elements such as a diya, a firecracker and of course a delicious ghee laddoo.
